The only thing I will say about this unit is that if you are planning to use it in the car make sure to take the adaptor with you to listen throught the car speakers. Otherwise it might be a little hard to hear throught the player speakers; taking into consideration the traffic and car noise. Other than that I liked everything else about it.

I purchased this player in Feb 2009 and it has just quit on me after 12 months of CONSTANT 24/7 use. I am disabled and it is difficult for me to get up to change the DVD on a tv set. This is my second COBY 10 in and both have lasted about a year under constant use. I do not have cable TV and therefore I play DVD's (I'm one of Netflix's best customers!), constantly. I need something playing at night so I can sleep. I think these players last up well under my constant use. My only complaint about this model was that the control buttons are on the back, under the screen, and they are black and blend in. I had a spare remote as the remote from my previous COBY was identical. The entire front panel opens on this model as opposed to just the DVD part and dust can collect so clean out regularly.
I have had a Toshiba, a Panasonic and Curtis players and none of them lasted as well under my constant use. I keep the player on a table beside my recliner or bed where I can reach it easily.

EXCELLENT quality on the picture. My 2 year old grandson jumped on the table it was sitting on and it locked up pretty easily with that vibration and that was frustrating. I haven't used it in the car yet, but I am wondering how potholes/bumps are going to affect this. Beware of that. Other than that it's easy to use and perfect for my needs.
