 Perfect for the plane or doctor's office! March 8, 2010

I ordered this DVD player because of the battery life (which it lives up to), as we are leaving in a couple of weeks for a trip to Hawaii. The flight is scheduled for 5.5 hours, so this product is perfect for my 2 year-old.
The picture is fantastic and the sound is pretty good. The on-player buttons are really cool. They aren't buttons at all but just a flat panel. You just touch your selection (volume, play, stop, FF, etc.) lightly and the player reacts. It also comes with a remote, though I haven't used it yet.

We bought this for my son for travel on air planes, and to use a CD player at bedtime. It works great, sounds great, is easy for me to use, and the red is a cool color. Love the swivel feature. Compact and fits well in a padded backpack or bag.

Just got my dvd player at a great price $129.99. The picture is so clear and the sound is great! The lid in heavy and the player itself is made of good quality materials, not cheap plastic. Still seeing if the battery life is actually 6 hours, but so far it's a good buy. I also like the little remote that comes with it, although the screen is an easy touch screen to operate the controls. The battery does need to be assembled on the bottom before charing the unit.

DVD picture is crystal clear. Even the sound is perfect. What is really disappointing is that this player is very CHOOSY. I heard the same comments from friends that this is the usual problem with sony players. I have a library of dvds from different countries coded for region 1. This player WON'T recognize them. I hope Sony will do something about this? I am a Sony fanatic. But not for this player
